Led by the Rev. Susil Priyantha, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Kandana has been blessed with rapid growth through intensive study of God’s Word. The past several years have seen great remodeling of the pastor’s home, as it first accommodated a few worshipers, and then a few more, and now so many as to have required the conversion of almost all of the former living area into space for the Divine Service, as seen in the pictures on this page. The former sleeping and living areas are now being converted into Sunday School classrooms, and a second story has been added to provide space for the pastor and his young family.
